2023 Miss American Teenager Pageant

September 1-4, 2023

Hoff Theatre at the University of Maryland

College Park, MD 

While our program places an emphasis on excellence, achievement, and personal growth, we also strive to make the pageant experience FUN! The pageant is a five-day event and will be held September 1-4, 2023.

Here are just some of the highlights that will take place. On the first day, its fun, fun, and more fun! You will get time to know the pageant staff at registration & orientation which includes national titleholder contract review and signing.  Also, you will get time to hang out with other girls from all over the country at our first party. 

The second day will include a fashion photo shoot and you will meet our choreographer and show producer. You will have the opportunity to meet individually with each judge for a three-minute interview. Each contestant has the opportunity to convince the judges she is right for the job. That evening you will attend another great party.  

The third day you will begin rehearsals for the first of our fabulous shows which will include our National Costumes and Optional events.  Afterwards we hold our Preliminary Show where each contestant is presented to the judges in the Fun Fashion and Gown competitions. Following the Presentation Show our contestants are able to relax and close out the night at our American Teen Awards™ where all of our Optional competition winners are announced gala style with great food and a silent auction.  

You guessed it; the fourth day begins with the final rehearsal. Later that day is the Final competition where the semi-finalists will be presented in Fun Fashion, Gown and answer their On-Stage Question and ranked for court placement through final balloting. At the end of the final show, we will have our new Miss American Teenager queens. After crowning you will kickoff of your reign with your official photo shoot as a Miss American Teenager royalty!
